About Us

     

          Chef Cherylynn Barber graduated from the Le Cordon Bleu -California School of Culinary Arts Program in California, where she was the Valedictorian of her class. Her studies focused on all aspects of the culinary field, but her favorite area of study was pastry.

 Cherylynn was an Executive Pastry Chef at Mani’s Bakery and Café in Los Angeles where she refined her skills creating specialty desserts and cakes for every occasion. She worked with a French hotel named Sofitel in the bakery department learning French techniques for breads and desserts. She was a culinary instructor for many years and taught many different levels of culinary classes, including children’s classes and adult event classes. She was a personal chef for various prominent families on the west side of Los Angeles.  Realizing her passion for food and the love of cooking, she began her own catering business and catered to influential clubs in all regions of Los Angeles. She continued her pursuit and love for food when she moved to Colorado by accepting a job as the Executive Pastry Chef at Harvest Modern Country Kitchen in Greeley. More recently, she ran a kitchen in Fort Collins as the Executive Chef and Kitchen Manager. She has also consulted as a Banquet Manager and Events Coordinator. She currently works part time for a private company in Fort Collins as their Executive Corporate Chef. Where she writes, creates and tests recipes for new products.

 She is looking forward to the new endeavors this opening will bring....
